Find out what we've been doing!

Welcome to the Moulin Rouge

It's been months in the planning, with all kinds of rigging challenges, complicated choreography, rehearsals and costume preparation, so it was hugely satisfying to watch all our hard work come together for Solent Forts' run of amazing Christmas corporate parties.

Guests arrived to the marina at Gunwharf Quays and were escorted to the Fort by boat, where Parisian showgirls and Can Can hostesses welcomed them with a glass of bubbly and a photo opportunity.

The singing trio set the scene whilst our aerial bartender topped up guests' glasses as she hung upside down from her hoop.

Guests were treated to a tour of the iconic building before kicking off the festivities with a high-energy Can Can show and a dynamic aerial hoop performance, all in the traditional French style, for that all important nod to the Moulin Rouge.

Then after a four course a la carte meal partygoers were ushered into the intimate Cabaret Bar for more music from the singing trio and an impromptu pole performance from our aerialist, who simply couldn't resist having a freestyle before encouraging guests to have a go too.

A huge thank you to Michael Palmer for the fabulous photographs, as well as to our team of choreographers, performers, costumiers, riggers, musicians and event managers who pulled together to make this project such a success. A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Halloween entertainment in Portsmouth

Halloween is a mad time in events world, and each year we look forward to getting creative at one of Hampshire's best Hallows Eve parties, at nightlife venue Tiger Tiger in Portsmouth. 2016's fun theme was 'Halloween Movies', and here's what we came up with.

Spider themed aerialist and giant cobweb from 'Arachnophobia'

Reapers from 'The Mask of the Red Death', interacting on stilts and performing a wow factor fire show

Inflatable and interactive 'Frankenstein' characters, offering excellent photo opportunities

Bat hostesses come dancers, from 'Dracula', of course.

Giant illuminated martini glass with a dead girl crawling out of it, a la the film 'The Ring'

And a professional face painter to decorate guests' faces and add lots of blood and gore!

Kudos to our photographer Alberto Baucis for the outstanding pictures. And well done to all staff for a super duper Halloween. Bring on Christmas...

A Lush few days

What better way to celebrate the great British outdoors than an open air summer party, and that's exactly what one of our clients had in mind when they hosted a Lush summer gathering in Dorset.

As Lush is a forward-thinking, eco-friendly brand with strong values about ethical trading, vegetarianism, veganism, charity, conservation, animal welfare and human rights, every act we supplied needed to be conducive to their brand ethos, right down to the raw ingredients in the molecular cocktails.

From flower pot men to cuddly human bushes, it was a gathering most definitely connected with nature.

This was a huge 3-day project which saw marquees erected, decor installed and changed over, furniture put in, out and back in again, a variety of caterers, a whole lot of man power, PA's and production, three events spread across 2 days, and of course an array of entertainment too - our client Seventa Events certainly had their hands full planning, producing and coordinating every aspect of these parties, but it certainly didn't seem to be in vain.

Take a look at the short film our videographer put together.
